Obituary of Tommy Michael Davenport
Mr. Tommy Michael Davenport, a resident of Ozark, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at his home. He was 65 years old.
In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned for Mr. Davenport. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Davenport was born March 21, 1960 in Anniston, Alabama to the late Kenneth and Rosa Anna Russell Davenport. His father was an Alabama State Trooper and in 1963 he was transferred to Ozark, where Tommy graduated from Carroll High School. Tommy was baptized at an early age at Hillcrest Baptist Church where he attended with his beloved Mother during his younger years. Tommy loved the outdoors. He played baseball along with his brother Bill but his passion was fishing, whether at the lake or a creek. He enjoyed his career as a house mover for many years. Tommy loved his family and was loved by them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth K. Davenport Sr. (Erskine), Howard D. Davenport, Jimmy D. Davenport, Sr., and William Brady “Bill” Davenport, Sr. He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Smith of Newnan, Georgia and Abigail Davenport of Enterprise; three beautiful granddaughters; one sister, Nancy Haddan (Roger) of Ozark; one brother, Donald E. Davenport (Mark) of Orlando, Florida; and two sisters-in-law. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
