Obituary of Gary Wayne Munn
Mr. Gary Wayne Munn, a resident of Ozark, died Sunday, June 1, 2025, at his home. He was 39 years old.
Funeral Services for Mr. Munn will be held 11:00 A.M. (Eastern Time) Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Fort Mitchell National Veterans Cemetery with Reverend Clayton Garner officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
Mr. Munn was born November 12, 1985 in Ozark, Alabama to Daniel Wayne Munn and Monica Cheryl Peacock. He was raised by his grandparents, John Edward Munn and Linda French Munn. Gary was a 2004 graduate of Carroll High School and attended Alabama Aviation and Technical College for Air Frame and Power Plant. He joined the United States Army where he served in Afghanistan and worked with the Transportation Department as a mechanic. Following his military service, Gary worked with his family at J. W. Construction Company. He loved to go fishing, camping and play video games. Gary was an avid Alabama fan and adored his children. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Edward Munn and Linda French Munn and one uncle, Billy Munn.
Survivors include one daughter, Khloe Alexis Munn; one son, Landon Colt Alexander Brown; his father, Daniel Wayne Munn; his mother, Monica Peacock Carr; and two brothers, Christopher Wayne Munn and Brandon Scott Carr.
