Obituary of Judith Lee Kyle Wolf

Mrs. Judith Lee Kyle Wolf, a resident of Ozark, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Wesley Place in Dothan. She was 83 years old. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Wolf 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 6, 2025, from St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ozark with Reverend Chris Boutin officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Mrs. Wolf was born July 26, 1941 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late Myron Harvey Kyle and Elizabeth Grace Hofmann Kyle. She married W. Merrill Wolf in 1961 and accompanied him during his twenty years of service in the United States Army. Mrs. Wolf worked with Synovus Bank (formerly Ft. Rucker National Bank) handling CDs and IRAs for twenty years. Mrs. Wolf was active at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Ozark for many years in child and adult religious education and the Ministry of Care for the sick and bereaved. She was a board member for the Wiregrass Emergency Pregnancy Service for twenty years. She enjoyed camping with her family and taking travel tours to many places. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Merrill Wolf. Survivors include two sons, Steven Robert Wolf of Ozark and David Merrill Wolf (Kathryn) of Panama City, Florida; granddaughters, Christina Cline (Christopher) of Ozark, Amanda Wolf (Richard) of Enterprise and Sarah Wolf of Panama City, Florida; great grandchildren, Tyler Cline and Michael Cline of Ozark; and one brother, Robert Edward Kyle (Susan). One nephew also survives. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, P. O. Box 1008, Ozark, Alabama 36361.
