Obituary of Teddy Gene Conder

Mr. Teddy Gene Conder, a resident of Ozark, died Saturday, June 28, 2025, in Flowers Hospital following an extended illness. He was 88 years old. In keeping with the wishes of his family, there are no public services planned for Mr. Conder. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements. Mr. Conder was born August 30, 1936 in Wapello, Iowa to the late Ted Lou Conder and Fern E. Wilkinson Conder. They lived in various locations around the country as he served in the United States Army until his retirement. He enjoyed working on cars and having a fresh fruit road-side market. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife earlier this month, Mary Nell Shirah Conder. Survivors include his children, Katherine Harper of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Karen Stevenson of Gilbertsville, Kentucky and Mike Conder of Bainbridge, Georgia; two step-daughters, Pearlie Victoria Crews of Phenix City and Lynda Ladana Parrish of Daleville.
