Constene’s death is a great loss to our community. When Bob and I moved to Ariton in 1959, Constene was one of the first persons I met. It was always a pleasure to walk into Farmers & Merchants Bank and be greeted with her warm smile. Especially memorable was the kindness she showed my father, Cleve Wilson.
I will miss my dear friend of 66 years.
