Obituary of Jeanette Fay Unterborn
Mrs. Jeanette Fay Unterborn, a devoted mother, cherished family member, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the age of 66.
In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned for Mrs. Unterborn at this time. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Born in Washington state, Jeanette lived a life defined by love, strength, and selflessness. You were sure to receive her famous county winning cheesecake for Christmas. She was the heart of her family—the one who made everyone feel welcome, and gave endlessly of herself. She lived every moment including skydiving and riding the Harley.
Jeanette had a special way of making ordinary moments meaningful. Whether through her cooking, her laughter, her advice, or her quiet support, she created a home filled with warmth. She taught by example the values of kindness, resilience, and compassion, lessons that will live on through those she loved.
She is survived by her husband, Eric Unterborn of Ozark; children, Jeremy Unterborn of Crestview, Florida and Maria Dinsmore (Bryan) of Halfway, Missouri; and brother Tracy Spracklen (Angie) of Idaho, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Spracklen; mother Thelma Spracklen; siblings Raleigh Spracklen, Loretta Wilcox, and Tanya Pleasant.
Though deeply missed, Jeanette’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to guide and watch over them.
