Mr. James Darrell Skelton, a resident of Enterprise and formerly of Ozark, died Monday, January 12, 2026, in Medical Center Enterprise following an extended illness. He was 61 years old.

A memorial service for Mr. Skelton will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend David Evans officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.

Mr. Skelton was born March 11, 1964 in Ozark, Alabama and attended Enterprise High School. Darrell went to work with Gene Foxworth building swimming pools and later worked with Cox Pools. He then worked for many years in the grocery industry and was presently employed with Grocery Advantage in Enterprise. He loved the classic comic books, antiques and Alabama Football. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Woodrow Skelton.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Gayle and Joseph Gaston of Enterprise; and one sister, Angela Renae Nolin (Philip) of New Brockton.
