Mrs. Judy Carr Sitz, a resident of Ozark, passed away Thursday morning, March 5, 2026, in Flowers Hospital. She was 79 years old.

A public visitation will be held for Mrs. Sitz 2:00 P. M. Monday, March 9, 2026, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Sitz was born December 11, 1946 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Frank and Gladys Tomlin Carr. She was a life-long resident of Ozark where she graduated from Carroll High School in 1965. Judy pursued a career as a nurse, working with various doctors, Oakview Manor Nursing Facility and Ozark Nursing Facility for a total of forty years. Judy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and working in her beautiful flower beds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tonya Dawn Tadlock; one son, Trent Tadlock; one stepdaughter, Diane Grider; one sister, June Carr; and five brothers, Wayne Carr, Maxie Carr, Larry Carr, Ronnie Carr and Sam Carr.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Bobby Sitz of Ozark; two sons, Wayne Tadlock of Dothan and Jason Tadlock of Ozark; step-sons, Randall Sitz (Kim) of Gainesville, Florida, Bobby Sitz (Jesse) of Ozark, Rodney Sitz (Della) of Pensacola, Florida, and Brandon Grider; grandchildren, Allison Tadlock, Jacob Tadlock, Kristy Sitz, Samantha Sitz, Fred Sitz, Kadden Sitz, Austin Sitz, Brittany Roberts, Dana and Ozene Sanders; and a special great granddaughter, Cecelia “CeCe” Tadlock: four additional great grandchildren, Gracie, Emmitt, Hudson and Chandler Sitz. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
