Mr. Melvin Earl Faulk, a resident of Ozark, died early Tuesday morning March 10, 2026. He was 87 years old.

Funeral services for Mr. Faulk will be graveside 11:00 A. M. Thursday, March 12, 2026, in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Randy Adams officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Faulk was born April 1, 1938 in Barbour County, Alabama to the late Huey Alto Faulk and Bienville Thompson Faulk. He worked with the Phillips-Van Heusen Company in Ozark for over twenty-three years and then with the City of Ozark until his retirement. Mr. Faulk was a jack-of-all-trades and could fix most anything. He loved to play dominos and go fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Agnes Taylor Faulk.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Angela and William Peters; one grandson, Taylor Peters (Ashley); one brother and sister-in-law, Elmer and Barbara Faulk; one sister-in-law, Sonja and Lamar Tomlin; nieces, Tammy Horton, Brenda (Jason) Steed, Allyson (Rob) Jenkins and Marlana (James) Tillery; nephew, Phillip (Renae) Helms. Numerous great nieces and nephews.
