My Daddy,Toby Kirkland, bought Ida Clark's homeplace in Seale in 1962. Several times during the years Ida would come by to see the house where she had grown up. We always looked forward to her visits and the stories she would tell. My husband and I built our house on some of the land to the right of the big house that we have always called Kirkwood. Ida's father had a mule barn there we learned and there were lots of concrete pieces and metal railings on this site. We love this land and I know Ida did too. Please accept our condolences for your loss. My mother died in 2002 and Daddy died in 05. Come by and visit if you are in this area. We are next door at 196 Clark Rd.
