Obituary of Harley W Updyke

Mr. Updyke was born in Muskegon, Michigan and lived there until entering the United States Army in 1946. He served in World War II and the Korean Conflict, retiring in 1966 as CW2. He then worked with the flight contractor at Fort Rucker as an instructor pilot and flight commander for 27 years until his retirement in 1994. Until his illness he worked as a security guard at Collins Signs in Dothan. Mr. Updyke was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and an avid golfer. Service Information
