Mrs. Bienville Faulk, age 93, of the Evergreen Community of Airton, died early Saturday evening, January 7, 2006, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, January 10, 2006, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Randy Adams and Reverend Kenneth Earles officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Monday evening. Mrs. Faulk was born June 14, 1912 to the late Maudie Carter Thompson and Johnny T. Thompson, a native of Dale County in the Evergreen Community. She worked with Van Heusen Manufacturing in Ozark a number of years and was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church near Clio. Her Husband Huey Faulk, two sisters, Voncile Batchlor and Eunice Wynn, preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Evelyn Helms and her husband Reverend Shelly Helms, Dothan, two sons, Elmer Faulk and his wife, Barbara, Freeport, Florida, Earl Faulk and his wife, Barbara, Ozark, five grandchildren, Dedra Helms, Atlanta, Georgia, Phillip Helms, Panama City, Florida, Allyson Faulk Jenkins, Seattle, Washington, Marlana Faulk Gann, and Angela Faulk Peters, Ozark. Seven great grandchildren also survive. Flowers will be accepted; however, the family requests the omission of food. Service Information
