Obituary of Bobbie Gray Hill

Mrs. Bobbie Gray Hill, age 69, of Ozark, died Saturday, February 18, 2006, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Monday, February 20, 2006 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Reverend Kenneth Hale, Reverend W. L. Sheffield, Reverend William Hart, and Reverend Joel Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M. Sunday. Mrs. Hill's body will be placed in the Church one hour prior to service time on Monday. Mrs. Hill was born December 9, 1936 in Dry Creek, Louisiana to the late Martha Green Gray and William J. Gray. She entered the United States Navy in 1956 and married Isom Hill in 1957. They had made Ozark their home since 1980. She developed and taught a special education class for 16 years at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and had been a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church since 1999. Mrs. Hill was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 48 years; Reverend Isom D. Hill of Ozark, one daughter; Danna Lisenby and her husband, Johnny of Donalsonville, Georgia, two sons; Danny Hill and his wife, Pam of Ozark, and Charles Hill and his wife, Tammy of Ariton, one sister; Jo Cook of Kinder, Louisiana, two brothers; Marcell Gray and his wife, Brenda of Dry Creek, Louisiana, and Joseph Gray of Pineville, Louisiana, six grandchildren; Rachel Lisenby, Nathan Lisenby, Kenny Hill, Charlie Hill, Thomas Hill, and Kaitlyn Hill. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 246 Church Street, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
