Terry & Judy, I am so sorry for your loss. I know you have slowly been losing him for many years. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to know your dad, if even for a brief time. What a sense of humor! I hope you can take comfort in knowing he is with your mom again and you will see him again in heaven. My prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Brightons,
We send our love to you and our prayers to God for His comfort and peace in this sad time.
When Paul told me of Uncle Bill's death, my first thought was the joy he brought to us all, but especially to his sister Doris, by surprising us, showing up for our wedding! Oh, how the tears of joy flowed that day!
He and Aunt Alta also visited us in Norfolk when Paul III was a baby. I have a sweet photo of them with him.
I am sorry to be so far away at the time of his death and his visitation and funeral service. I hope you feel surrounded by love and support.
Sincerely,
Eileen for all the Lynchburg (Virginia) Lasses

I worked with Bill at Fort Rucker briefly. What I remember most was STRONG Brighton family ties. Bill and his Son had lunch together virtually every day. It was usually just a sandwich under a shade tree ... but they were together! Bob McGraw San Angelo, Texas
