Obituary of Kara Michelle LaDuew

Miss Kara Michelle LaDuew, 43, of Ozark, died Saturday evening, July 9, 2016, in Dale Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Thursday, July 14, 2016, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Dwayne Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow in Hawridge At Ebenezer Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Thursday morning from 9:30 A. M. until service time.
Miss LaDuew was born December 9, 1972 in Ozark, Alabama. She graduated from G. W. Long High School in 1991 and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Auburn University in Montgomery. She worked with the Red Cross in Atlanta for over fifteen years and was presently employed as a Medical Technologist with Colquitt Hospital in Miller County, Georgia. She loved to study medicine, travel, read, and the beach.
Survivors include her parents Jim and Jeanelle Bruner LaDuew of Ozark; one brother, Michael Laduew of Dothan; two sisters, Lavell Watson and Pam Perez of Pensacola, Florida; and a host of friends in the health care profession.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Ebenezer Cemetery Fund, C/O Mrs. Peggy Lewis, 6033 County Road 36, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
