Mr. John Ronald Spade, 83, of Ozark, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 17, 2016, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Jim Hill officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Full Military Honors, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Saturday morning from 9:30 A.M. until service time.
Mr. Spade was born October 16, 1933 on a dairy farm in Benton, Pennsylvania to the late Earl Stanley Spade and Ina Daisy Clark Spade. He served in the United States Army for twenty years until his retirement in 1973. Following is military service, he owned and operated John’s Auto Repair in Ozark until his final retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Rosetta Ridenour Spade.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Wayne McLeod of Dothan; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Earl and Brenda Spade of Dothan; grandchildren, Brandy and Jeff Hardy, Heather and Kirby Brown, Tara Long, and John McLeod; great grandchildren, Colton Kirk Hardy, Riley Alaina Wells, Easton Ford Wells, Kathryn Claire Brown and Landon James Hardy; seven sisters, Charlotte Robbins (John) of Grand Junction, CO, Patsy Luhn of Boonsboro, MD, Helen Hildebrand of Knoxville, MD, Pearl Ingram of Fayetteville, PA, Beulah Bidle of Myersville, MD, Sandra Gowen (Cal) of Bloomington, IL, Hope Louis of Fayetteville, PA; one brother, Perry Spade (Debbie) of Fayetteville, PA. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
