Obituary of Lillie Mae Sullivan

Mrs. Lillie Mae Sullivan, age 97, of Ozark, died Thursday afternoon, May 17, 2007 in Ozark Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 2:30 P. M. Saturday, May 19, 2007, from Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Reverend O'Neal Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Her body will be placed in the Church one hour prior to service time on Saturday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Friday afternoon. Mrs. Sullivan was born August 16, 1909 in Dale County to the late Lula Goff Dunaway and Benjamin Franklin Dunaway. She lived in the Haw Ridge Community of Coffee County during her childhood, and made her home in Ozark following her marriage to Mr. Dixie Sullivan. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, the Brannon Sunday School Class. She was on the Administrative Board, was Church Treasurer for 30 years, and taught in the Nursery Department for 10 years. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Woodrow Sullivan. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Sarah Sullivan of Ozark, one daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Ted Killpatrick of Pensacola, Florida, six grandchildren, Sharon Holmes of Pensacola, John Killpatrick of Pensacola, Eugene Sullivan, Jr., Frankie Sullivan, Timmy Sullivan, and Tammy Brown all of Ozark. Twelve great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the United Methodist Children's Home, P. O.
