Obituary of Rose Marie Morris

Mrs. Rose Marie Morris, age 89, of Ozark, died Monday evening, November 19, 2007 in Oakview Health Care Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, November 27, 2007, from St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church with Reverend Paul Egbe officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Monday evening, November 26, 2007. Mrs. Morris was born May 23, 1918 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Amos Louis and Antoinette Marie Gerard Knepper. She lived in various places around the world while her late husband of 55 years, Wilson Poe Morris, served in the United States Army, moving to Ozark in 1957. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her son, Donald Edward Morris. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Barbara Marie Bensema, Patricia Ann and Robert C. Matthews, Sr., all of Ozark; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael John and Phyllis Morris of Utah, and William Joseph Morris of Ohio. Nineteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren also survive.
