Obituary of Annie Treadaway Gilmer

Mrs. Annie Treadaway Gilmer, 92, of Clayhatchee, died Wednesday evening, May 10, 2017. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, May 14, 2017, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Danny Bynum and Reverend Les Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Clayhatchee, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Saturday from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M. Mrs. Gilmer was born August 15, 1924 in Newton, Alabama to the late James Edward Treadaway and Dixie Elizabeth Sullivan Treadaway. She was a member of the Clayhatchee Assembly of God Church. She was devoted to her family and loved to garden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Gilmer; and her son, James Edwin Gilmer. Survivors include one son, Ronald Dean Gilmer of Calhoun, Georgia; three granddaughters, Michele Ward (Charles) of Ozark, Cassandra Gilmer of Enterprise, and Ashley Gilmer of Calhoun, Georgia. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 36303. Service Information
