Obituary of John Patrick Beasley

Mr. John Patrick Beasley, 50, of Ozark, died Thursday evening, August 31, 2017, in Flowers Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P. M. Sunday, September 3, 2017, from the First United Methodist Church of Ozark with Reverend R. Michael Sigler officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home and Cremation of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends in the church Sunday from 1:30 P. M. until service time.
Mr. Beasley was born October 5, 1966 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Jerry Glover Beasley and Glenda Byrd Snellgrove Beasley. He was a 1985 graduate of Carroll High School and attended the University of Alabama. Mr. Beasley was President of Beasley’s Inc. in Ozark. He was a past member of the Board of Directors of SouthTrust Bank, and was past President of the Ozark Area Chamber of Commerce and served on its’ Board of Directors for five years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved fiancé, Marilyn Mitchell.
Survivors include two daughters, Alexis Massey and Jordan Ochoa; one sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Patrick Ramsey of Montgomery; one brother, Robert I. “Bob” Beasley of Ozark; his aunt and uncle, Edith and Don Turner; his aunt, Mildred Beasley; two nieces, Anna Beth Ramsey and Allie Ramsey.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Faith Radio, 381 Mendel Parkway East, Montgomery, Alabama 36117; to the First United Methodist Church of Ozark, 167 East Broad Street, Ozark, Alabama 36360; or to the charity of your choice.
