Obituary of Lewie Frank Dunn

Mr. Lewie Frank Dunn, 84, of Ozark, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Funeral services will be 4:00 P. M. Saturday, September 23, 2017, from Ozark First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Greg Doss officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church from 2:30 P. M. until service time. Mr. Dunn was born November 8, 1932 in Elamville, Alabama to the late Richard Kirkland Dunn and Jessie O’Etta Rushing Dunn. Mr. Dunn served in the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Fort Rucker. He was very active in the Ozark First Assembly of God Church and enjoyed attending the Arguta Community Center Saturday night sings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor R. Dunn; two sisters, Eloise Edwards and Clyde Segler; and four brothers, Rosco Dunn, Marvin Dunn, Buck Dunn, and Ed Adkison. Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Grace Dunn of Ozark and Winnie Sherrod of Albany, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 5320 County Road 15, Ozark, Alabama 36360. Service Information
