Obituary of Billy Wayne Grubbs

Mr. Billy Wayne Grubbs, age 59, of Ozark, died Monday, March 22, 2010, in Dale Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Thursday, March 25, 2010, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Brother Herschel Baker officiating. Interment will follow with Full Military Honors in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Wednesday evening.
Mr. Grubbs was born August 19, 1950 in Lipscomb, Alabama. He served in the United States Army until his retirement with four tours in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Grubbs; one brother, David Grubbs and his wife Jane; one niece, Nancy Grubbs.
Survivors include his wife, Mona Baker Grubbs of Ozark;
his first wife, Peggy and Robert Fleshman of Germany;
one daughter, Amy Renee Phillips of Enterprise;
two sons, Eli Phillips of Ozark, Robert Nathanial (Nat) Phillips of Birmingham;
his Mother, Jeanette Grubbs of Lipscomb, Alabama;
two brothers and one sister-in-law, Danny Grubbs of Birmingham, James Glenn and Melissa Grubbs of Birmingham;
thirteen grandchildren, Austin, Robbie, Christopher, Andrew, Reagan, Breanna, Candy, Elizabeth, Olivia, Robert, Carissa, Joshua, and Jacob.
