Obituary of Charles Snellgrove

Mr. Charles Snellgrove, Jr., 97, of the Longstreet Community of Ozark died Sunday, March 25, 2018, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Pastor Greg Doss officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Pallbearers will be Josh, Chad, Trevor and Reiley Snellgrove, Tony Hughes and Don Ezell.
Mr. Snellgrove was born January 9, 1921 in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Charlie and Henrietta Kyser Snellgrove. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Bowman Snellgrove.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Rhonda Snellgrove of Ozark; two grandsons, Josh (Jennifer) Snellgrove, Chad (Victoria) Snellgrove; three great grandchildren, Trevor, Reiley and Leighton Snellgrove.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Longstreet Cemetery Trust Fund, C/O Peggy Lewis, 6033 West County Road 36, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
