Obituary of Errol S. Simmons

Mr. Errol Stanley Arthur Simmons, 86, of Ozark, died early Wednesday morning, March 14, 2018. A memorial service for Mr. Simmons will be held at a later date. Mr. Simmons was born April 25, 1931 in Port of Spain, Trinidad. He served in the United States Army for twenty-three years until his retirement. Following his military service, Mr. Simmons worked as a Security Guard for eighteen years. He enjoyed traveling and loved his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Simmons; two sons, William Mills and Michael Simmons; and one brother, Dennis Simmons. Survivors include his children, Jocelyn Mills of Atlanta, Georgia, Susan Fortier (Guy) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Harry Mills of Ozark, David Simmons (Charlene) of Ozark, Frank Simmons (Theresa) of Berkley Springs, West Virginia, and Errol Simmons, Jr. of Ozark. Six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two nieces also survive.
