Obituary of Imojean Irene Cronk

Mrs. Imojean Irene Nupp Knowlton Cronk, a resident of Pinckard, Alabama, died Thursday, August 23, 2018. She was eighty-seven years old. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 26, 2018, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Andy Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Pinckard Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Sunday from 12:30 P.M. until service time. Mrs. Cronk was born January 18, 1931 in Olean, New York to the late Alonzo Ford Nupp and Elizabeth Ann Braund Nupp. She lived in various locations while her late husband served in the United States Army and made her home in Pinckard where they owned and operated Daleville Printing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Arthur Cronk, Sr.; one daughter, Molly Boswell; one son, Eugene Cronk; and her sisters and brothers. Survivors include seven daughters, Jacqueline Lowe of Schertz, Texas, Lauretta Richardson of Elba, Alabama, Mildred Senn of Ariton, Gail Robinette of Ozark, Catherine Wiggins of Ozark, Rebecca Ott of Dothan, Jeanette Finch of Graceville; four sons, Charles Knowlton III of Olean, New York, George A. Cronk, Jr. of Havelock, North Carolina, Timothy Cronk of Pinckard, Alabama, Phillip Cronk of Elba, Alabama. Thirty grandchildren, forty-seven great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
