Obituary of Gary Dean Edmonds

Mr. Gary Dean Edmonds, 51, a resident of Jack, Alabama, died Sunday, December 16, 2018. Funeral services will be graveside 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 19, 2018, in Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Mr. Edmonds was born August 4, 1967 in Dale County, Alabama. He was a 1987 graduate of Ariton High School and had worked at Fort Rucker as an aircraft refueler for twenty years. He was an avid Auburn football fan who loved to hunt and fish. Gary never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dina Leigh Edmonds Hughes. Survivors include his wife, Angelia Grantham Edmonds; one daughter, Brittney Danielle Hill; one son, Houston Hill all of Jack, Alabama; his mother, Velma Holloway of Ozark; his father and step-mother, Dean and Betty Edmonds of Ariton; one brother and sister-in-law, Arthur Lynn and Belinda Edmonds of Ariton; one grandson, Clayton Gilley of Jack; special niece, Kristen Hughes and her son, Colton B. Raymond of Ariton. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to The Arthritis Foundation, 3800 Colonnade Parkway, Suite 140, Birmingham, Alabama 35243.
