Mrs. Christine Smith Wenk, age 65, of Ozark, died Saturday morning, January 1, 2011, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 10:30 A. M. Monday, January 3, 2011, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 9:30 A. M. until service time. Mrs. Wenk was born December 20, 1945 in Ozark to the late Ewell J. and Ruby Paramore Smith. She worked as a dietician with Dale Medical Center for eight years until her medical retirement. She was an avid reader, enjoyed working in her yard, and spoiling her grandchildren. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Charlotte Wenk and Terry and Sheila Wenk all of Ozark; three grandchildren, Shannon Wenk, Brandon Wenk, and Brian Wenk; three sisters, Linda Whittaker of Colquitt, Georgia, Alice Houston of Ozark, and Pauline of Albany, Georgia; two brothers, Robert Smith of Banks and Jerry Smith of Colquitt, Georgia.
