SFC Marc Oliver Masters (United States Army Retired), age 76, of Ozark, died Saturday, January 1, 2011.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, January 5, 2011, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow with full Military Honors in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M.
SFC Masters was born April 17, 1934 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He served in the United States Army for twenty-two years until his retirement. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association.
Survivors include his wife of 51 Years, Shirley Stadt Masters of Ozark;
one daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Edward Everett, Jr. of Ozark;
one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Cindy Masters of Ozark;
two sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Everett Nelson, Darlene and Lorn Rask all of Springfield, Illinois;
four grandchildren, D. J. Everett, Tanner Everett, Kaleb Masters, and Justin Masters;
two great grandchildren, Tyler Everett and Tara Tanner.
