What a life to celebrate!!! She lived in such a way as to be an example of one with great character and an enormous capacity to love. Wow! We praise God that we were given the blessing to be a part of her time on this earth.

Aunt Ruthie was blessed with a long and full life, both in service to her country and her fellow man as a nurse. I was able to visit her often when I was stationed in Montgomery and always enjoyed stories from her Army days. She was a great lady and will be missed. Day is done, gone the sun, From the lake, from the hills, from the sky; All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.

Seth, sorry to hear about your loss. What a rich, fullfilling and long life your mother enjoyed. She is another of that great generation that we all owe so much to for their sacrifice. If I had known she did all that for the country, I would have told her thanks that day I saw y'all in Captain D's.

Seth and Becky, I am sorry for your loss. "The Colonel" was an inspiration to us all. As your "adopted son", I've always considered myself her "adopted grandson". Thank you for all you have done for me through the years; know that you are in our prayers. Psalm 30:5 tells us "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning". Can you imagine the joy she is experiencing today? What a comfort that is to us! I love you. In His Grip, Doug Wynn
