Obituary of Stan Harrington

Mr. Stan Harrington, age 50, of Ozark, died Thursday evening, October 7, 2010 at his home.
Funeral services will be graveside at 2:00 P. M. Sunday, October 10, 2010, in Westview Memorial Cemetery with Minister Glenn VanZandt officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will speak with friends following the service.
Mr. Harrington was born July 1, 1960 at Fort Rucker to Sylvia Tarter Harrington Skelton and the late Carl Dean Harrington. He graduated from Carroll High School in 1979 and had been a barber for thirty years in Destin, Florida and Ozark. He was an avid Alabama fan and enjoyed playing golf.
Survivors include one son, Tyler Harrington of Thief River Falls, Minnesota;
his mother, Sylvia Tarter Skelton of Ozark;
one sister, Amy Harrington of Dothan;
one brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Denise Harrington of Abbeville;
one half brother, Patrick Harrington of Tracey, California.
