My heart felt sympathies go to the family. My daughter, Kim Granthan (Ozark), truly loved Paw Paw Palmer (that's how she referred to him). She went to church with him for awhile. He gave her children two special gifts when each was born. She took them to see him. She and he corresponded by letters. I am married to Glen Hammond whose mother was a McDougald. Betty Palmer married one of her brothers. Also, I have known Dot for many years and went to church with her. I know that Kim and Paw Paw had a special friendship. I think she talked with one of his daughtes at times checking on his health. I believe they are now having a happy reunion in God's great mansion. God
