Mr. Bernon Peacock, age 73, died Monday, March 15, 2010, at his home following a brief illness.
Graveside funeral services will be 10:30 A. M. Saturday, March 20, 2010, in Lee Cemetery with Reverend Anthony Tutor officiating. Interment will follow with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
Mr. Peacock was born March 19, 1936 in Newton. He was a graduate of Emory University where he was an instructor for many years following his graduation. He returned to Ozark where he taught at Troy University at Fort Rucker until his retirement. Mr. Peacock was preceded in death by his mother, Tempie Dell Peacock, and his brother, Jack Peacock.
Survivors include one aunt, Beatrice Childree of Ozark;
one uncle, O'Neal Peacock of Georgetown, Georgia;
and numerous first cousins.
