Mrs. Nettie Lee Thomas Shaw, age 86, of Ozark, died Thursday evening, December 3, 2009, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, December 6, 2009, from Hillcrest Baptist Church with Reverend Isom Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M. Saturday.
Mrs. Shaw was born April 9, 1923 in Pinson, Alabama to the late Henry Swanson Thomas and Mandy Ellen Carrell Thomas. She had lived in Ozark since 1955 and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Shaw, and three sisters.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Charles Shaw of Ozark;
two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Janice Shaw of Ozark, Robert and Sherry Shaw of Birmingham;
one sister, Dorothy Lindsey of Columbus, Mississippi;
one brother-in-law, D. T. Shaw of Guin, Alabama;
six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
