Obituary of Sarah Lavadous Snell Kline

Mrs. Sarah Lavadous Snell Kline, age 83, of Ozark, died Saturday morning, July 11, 2009, at her home following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be 3:00 P. M. Monday, July 13, 2009, from Westview Heights United Methodist Church with Reverend Russell Burleson officiating. Interment will follow in Asbury United Methodist Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the Church Monday from 1:30 P. M. until service time. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Westview Heights United Methodist Church Building Fund, 512 Camilla Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360; The American Cancer Society, 2346 W Main Street, Suite 3, Dothan, Alabama 36301; or to Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center, 126 Hospital Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360. Mrs. Kline was born October 23, 1925 in Ozark, to the late Henry and Eva Monk. Mrs. Kline lived all her life in Ozark and attended Ozark city schools. She worked over 30 years with Dr. Major Mills as a dental hygienist, was a member of Eastern Star, and a charter member of the Westview Heights United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. Mrs. Kline was an "avid" Auburn fan. She enjoyed fishing, traveling and dancing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth M. Snell and husband of 20 years, Lou Kline; four sisters, Mamie Knight, Florence Monk, Ruby Key, and Maureen Lanier; and five brothers, Melvin, Henry, Rayford, Joe, and Leroy Monk She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Survivors include four daughters, Katrina Adams of Clio, Dale Zuccarini and her husband Louis of Marietta, Georgia, Lisa Epling and her husband Wirt of Peachtree City, Georgia, and Malinda Oliver and her husband John of Indianapolis, Indiana; one son Lanier Snell and his wife Linda of San Antonio, Florida; Step-children and their spouses, Linda and Joe Richardson of Ocala, Florida, Kathy and Jay Flint of Ft. Walton, Florida, Dale and Lynda Kline of Chandler, Arizona, and Larry and Nancy Kline of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Paul and Connie Kline of spring, Texas; three sisters, Hazel Wilson of Montgomery; Rachel Stevenson of Daleville and Grace Isler of Dothan; eight grandchildren, Jon Snell, Jamie Adams, Scott Adams, Amy Boutwell, Matthew Zuccarini, Jason Zuccarini, Sarah Epling, and Clayton Epling. nine great grandchildren also survive.
