Mrs. Lillie Mae Willis Caraway, age 93, of Ozark, died Monday, March 2, 2009, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 10:30 A. M. Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Ed Quattlebaum, Chaplain Charles Goldsmith, and Reverend Teresa Hutto officiating. Interment will follow in Ewell Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M. Tuesday. Mrs. Caraway was born November 18, 1915 in Dale County to the late Jeff Z. and Alberta Cain Willis. She was a member of Ewell Assembly of God Church, and had worked with Van Heusen in Ozark and WesTex in Headland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lunnie Caraway, and her son, Cullen O. Caraway. Survivors include one daughter, Lillie Jenene Henry of Ozark; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Martha Caraway of Macon, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Trecy Caraway Boswell of Ozark; three sisters, Adell Walker of Dothan, Francis and Atlas Richards of Dothan, and Nita and Guice Gunter of Ozark; two brothers, Leon Gerald "Bud" Willis and Lomax Willis both of Ozark; nine grandchildren, Rita Helms, Shelia Williams, Cathy Tew, Gwen Barefield, Lisa Peters, Keith Tomlin, Charles Caraway, James R. Caraway, and Brad Loyal. Seventeen great grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P. O.
