Mrs. Jeanette Sutton Wynn, age 68, of Ariton, died Wednesday morning, May 21, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, May 23, 2008, from Ariton Baptist Church with Reverend Guy Causey officiating. Interment will follow in Universalist Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Her body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time on Friday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Thursday evening. Mrs. Wynn was born May 7, 1940 in Barbour County to the late Annie Jo and Malcolm M. Sutton. She had lived in Ariton since childhood where she was a member of Ariton Baptist Church and was active in the church choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Edwin B. "Ed" Wynn, and her brother, Hildridge Sutton. Survivors include her husband, Byron L. Wynn; one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Angie Wynn; one grandson, Jackson Wynn all of Ariton; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Jimmy White of Sheffield, Luverne and Lomax Pritchett of Skipperville, Sarah and Harold Mabery of Gadsden, Brenda and Joel Wilkinson of Red Level; her sister-in-law, Patsey Sutton of Brundidge. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Universalist Cemetery Fund, C/O Mr. Earl Thompson, 7147 Hwy 51, Ariton, Alabama 36311; or to Community Hospice, 126 Hospital Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
