My Grandpa Howard will be missed. Over time I learned to love all his stories and appreciate what he did for our Country. I know that he will hit many hole in ones at God's golf course, chances are pretty good that he'll have changes that could better the course in heaven. We love you. Scott, Tonya, and Ava Peat

I am writing for my Dad Charles Lincoln from Taunton, Mass. He spent some time visiting with Howard when he was in Taunton and was very inspired by his book.He wanted to send his deepest sympathy along with myself( Cyndie) and my sister Ginny. My Dad is 91 yrs old and in Longmeadow Nursing Home in Taunton and doing fairly well--- he actually has an e-mail address but we are still trying to mske it a lttle easier for him--chazone@tmlp.com He started writing excerpts of his life after he saw your Dad's book and we are forever grateful. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Charlie, Ginny & Cyndie

Although we met Howard in the twilight of his years, his youthful spirit was bright as mid day sun. His friendship found a permanent place in our hearts and his sense of humor brightened our lives. We enjoyed many good times and rest assured in the belief we will meet again one day. Until then, we will miss him. We send our sincere condolences to the family.

As friends of Bill and Nancy, we had the opportunity to meet Howard. He entertained us with his colorful stories of flying the missions during the war. His pride for serving our country was evident. He truly was a member of the greatest generation. Our sincere sympathy to all the family. Bob and Kathy Wall- Bristol, IN
