Mrs. Frances Ritchie Brown, age 80, of Ozark, died Friday evening, September 14, 2007, in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Monday, September 17, 2007, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home of Ozark with Chaplain Charles Goldsmith and her son-in-law, Ray Shelley, officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M. Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Brown was born September 6, 1927, in Early County, Georgia, to the late Mae Conner Ritchie and Joseph Ritchie. She worked in the textile industry until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Brown and her brother, John Ritchie. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Ray Shelley of Ozark, her son and daughter-in-law, Ritch and Sybil Brown of Ozark, two sisters, Martha Lieberman and Doris Ritchie of Ozark, four grandchildren, Bradley Shelley of Ozark, Chrissy Prescott and husband, Adam of Mobile, Stacie Rogie and husband, Matthew of Pooler,Georgia, Michelle Brown of Mobile, three great grandchildren, Nicholas Rogie and Raygan and Bailey Prescott, and one sister-in-law, Mildred Ritchie of Iron City, Georgia.
