Obituary of Inez Benson Nichols

Mrs. Inez Benson Nichols, age 90, of Ozark, died Thursday afternoon, May 3, 2007, at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, May 6, 2007, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home of Ozark with Reverend Roger Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Southside Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 6:30 P.M. Saturday afternoon May 5, 2007. Mrs. Nichols was a native and lifelong resident of Dale County and a Charter Member of Southside Baptist Church, where she was very active in all areas including keeping the nursery for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband William C. (Bill) Nichols, her son, Jimmy D. Nichols, and two brothers William Ray Benson and Grady Benson. Survivors include her daughter, Billie Ludlam, one grandson, John Clayton Ludlam, Sr., one great grandson, John Clayton Ludlam, Jr., one sister, Irene Gunter, all of Ozark. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made to Southside Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 902 South Hwy 123, Ozark, Alabama 36360. Service Information
