Obituary of Sharon Baker Kelley

Sharon Baker Kelley, of Rocky Head Community, died on Friday, December 29, 2006, at her home after a brief illness. She was 55. The Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 31, in the Chapel at Holman Funeral Home in Ozark. Pastor Randy Adams, Dr. Scott Hannen, and Rev. Andy Bryan will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Rocky Head, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. Kelley was born January 22, 1951, in Dale County to the late Talmadge and Effie Baker. She was a Graduate of Ariton High School. Mrs. Kelley was employed at the Commercial Bank of Ozark, Civil Service at Fort Rucker, and Federal Employee with the U.S. Postal Service in both Ozark and Ariton. The last nineteen years of her life were devoted to being a full time mother, wife, and homemaker. Surviving relatives include her husband, Edward T. Kelley, two sons Christopher and David Kelley of Rocky Head Community; Three Aunts, Easter Faulk of Clio, Agnes Ragan and Geraldine Mills of Rocky Head Community; mother-in-law Martha Kelley and the late Ray Kelley of Ozark, one sister-in-law Janice and Charles Lucas of Troy and one brother-in-law Allan and Jacqueline Kelley of Ozark, two nieces and one nephew. A special thanks to caregivers Agnes Ragan, Geraldine Mills, Martha Leger, and Beth Jacobs, Fe Edmonds, and a thanks to Covenant Hospice and their staff. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Olive Cemetery Fund, C/O Mrs. Verma Willoughby, P. O. Box 664, Ariton, Alabama 36311.
