Mr. Roy Anthony Galliano, Sr. age 63, of Midland City, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2006, in Flowers Hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, September 6, 2006, from St. Johns Catholic Church with Reverend Paul Egbe officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to service time on Wednesday. Mr. Galliano was born March 16, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Delgado Trade School where he studied to become an electrician. Mr. Galliano moved to Metarie, Louisiana in 1963 where he owned and operated Uneeda Apartment Service in the city of New Orleans for 38 years. He was an avid Boy Scout Leader, and was a great influence on the lives of many young men. Mr. Galliano loved fishing from his boat "Daddy's Dream". He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Diane Faller Galliano of Midland City, two daughters, Tammy Ortego and husband, James of Dothan, Pam Wilson and husband, Glenn, Sr. of Dothan,three sons, Roy A. Galliano, Jr. and wife, Heidi of Metairie, Louisiana, Joe Galliano and wife Myka of Angie, Louisiana, Randy Galliano and wife, Jenny of Metarie, Louisiana, two sisters, Arlene Barraco and husband, Phil of Kenner, Louisiana, JoAnn Bonura and husband, Joe of LaPlace, Louisiana, two brothers, Calvin Galliano of Folsom, Louisiana, Wayne Galliano and wife, Pam of Metarie, Louisiana. twelve grandchildren. Alexandre (Jim) Galliano, Robert Galliano, Glenn Wilson, Jr., Roy Galliano, III, Rochelle Lumnia, Edward Ortego, Anthony Ortego, Julia Galliano, Julianna Ortego, Keagan Galliano, Meridith Galliano, and Tamatha Ortego.
