Mrs. Pearl Harris Woodham, age 94, of Ozark, died Wednesday morning, July 5, 2006, at her home following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Friday, July 7, 2006, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Ron Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Ewell Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Thursday evening. Otherwise, they will be at the home of Lisa and Lynn Welch. Mrs. Woodham was born May 19, 1912, in Ozark, to the late Onnie Mae Paramore Harris and Jeff Harris. She attended Dale County Schools and Ewell Bible Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and fishing. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woodham was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Shell Woodham, her son, Louis Woodham, two sisters, Thyra Smith and Mattie Mosley, and two brothers, Henry Harris and Ralph Harris. Survivors include one son, Jeff Woodham and his wife, Shannon Lord Woodham of Panama City, Florida, five grandchildren, Lisa Welch and her husband, Lynn, Jason Woodham, Toni Woodham, Jeffery Woodham, Barry Woodham and his wife, Krista, three great grandchildren, Hannah Welch, Jason Welch, and Cali Woodham, and a special caregiver, Mary Dole.
