Mrs. LeeAnn Smith Vazquez, age 43, of Newton, died Sunday, April 16, 2006. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, April 19, 2006, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Ferrell Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 P. M. Wednesday until service time. Mrs. Vazquez was born November 3, 1962 in Ozark to Willene Bludsworth Cook and the late Winfrey Lee Smith. She lived in various places while her parents served in the United States Air Force, later lived in Jacksonville, Florida for 10 years, and moved back to Newton last February. Mrs. Vazquez was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Lennie Elizabeth Algarin. Survivors include one son, James Michael Duffy and his wife, Melisa of Ozark, her mother and step-father, Willene and Jimmy Cook of Newton, three sisters, Lisa German and her husband, Haston of Newton, Sheila Knutson of Tyler, Texas, and Marti Santos and her husband, Arsenio of Sacramento, California.
