Miss Ouida Woodham, of the Corinth Community of Dale County, died Thursday, March 23, 2006 following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, March 26, 2006, at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Her nephews will serve as casketbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:30 P. M. until 5:00 P. M. Saturday afternoon. Miss Woodham was born in the Corinth Community of Dale County to the late Willie Mae Marshall Woodham and John Franklin Woodham. She was an executive secretary in Montgomery during her working years. Survivors include five sisters; Myra Brown of Smiths, Alabama, Thelma Garrett of Levittown, Pennsylvania, Elna Black of Jefferson, Iowa, Virginia Spencer and Joni Merker of Columbus, Georgia, three brothers; Rex Woodham and James O. Woodham of Midland City, Alabama, and William Woodham of Lakeland, Florida. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
