Mrs. Martha Sue Woodham Griggs, age 62, of Ozark, died Saturday morning, February 25, 2006, in a Dothan hospital following a extended illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Monday, February 27, 2006, at Ewell Bible Baptist Church with Pastor David Lewis and Reverend Woody Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Dothan City Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M. Sunday afternoon. Her body will be placed in the Church one hour prior to service time on Monday. Mrs. Griggs was born December 18, 1943 in Dale County to the late Hettie Lucille Bagwell Woodham and Hoyt Woodham. She worked with General Telephone, retiring following 29 years of service. She was a member of Ewell Baptist Bible Church, and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Griggs was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin Woodham, and one grandchild, Little William. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, James W. Griggs of Ozark, two daughters, Delores Collins and her husband, Michael of Augusta, Georgia, and Edna Austin and her husband, Phillip of Ozark, grandchildren, Jamie and Stephen Collins, Ben and Brittany George, and J. R. and Jimbo Austin. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to your favorite charity. Service Information
