Mrs. Ann Hagler Woods, age 65, of Ozark, died early Tuesday morning, September 13, 2005, in Dale Medical Center following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, September 15, 2005, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Charles W. Price, Jr., and Reverend Jim Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Headland Methodist Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Wednesday evening. Mrs. Woods was born November 19, 1939 in Barbour County to the late Carrie V. Roberts Hagler and Ervin Emmett Hagler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Woods, her grandson, Jacob Yates, and two brothers, Lawrence Hagler and Arthur Hagler. Survivors include one son, Roger Emrick and his wife, Mary, Midland City, step-daughter, Laurie Yates and her husband, Roger, Dothan, step-son, Bobby Woods and his wife, Theresa, Abbeville, son-in-law and his wife, Glen and Debbie Watson, Green Cove Springs, Florida, grandchildren, Bill Emrick, Aaron Emrick, Matthew Emrick, Alecia Kerr, Spenser Kerr, Jarrod Yates, Christy Stockton, Chris Woods, Kelly Jackson, and Jerome Watson, four sisters, Edna Roberts, Skipperville, Luvenia Bludsworth, Elba, Ruby Strickland, Enterprise, and Christine Carr, Ozark, six brothers, James Hagler, Santa Rosa, California, Comer Hagler, Blue Springs, Collie Hagler, Elba, Fred Hagler, Ozark, Douglas Hagler, Ozark, and George Hagler, Newton, special caregiver and Mother of Bill, Jeanie Emrick, Ariton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Headland Methodist Cemetery Fund, 103 West King Street, Headland, Alabama 36345.
