Obituary of Faye E. McGee Carpenter

Mrs. Faye E. McGee Carpenter, age 82, of Daleville, Alabama, died Saturday evening, August 13, 2005, in Dale Medical Center following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Monday, August 15, 2005, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark, with the Reverend James Kilpatrick and Reverend Jud Waldrop officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 P. M. Monday until service time. Mrs. Carpenter was born in Eugene, Oregon on July 6, 1923, living in Daleville since 1958. She was a member of the Daleville Baptist Church. Her parents, Cecil and Glenn McGee, and her husband, Charles C. Carpenter, preceded Mrs. Carpenter in death. Survivors include two daughters Linda Bundons and her husband, Dick, Overland Park, Kansas, Kay Snellgrove and her husband, Jim, Ozark, and one son, Gordon Carpenter and his wife, Patsy, Dothan. Six grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. In lieu of food or flowers, the family request donations be made to the Daleville Baptist Church Building Fund, 100 Donnell Blvd., Daleville, Alabama 36322, or to the charity of your choice.
