Mr. J W Shirah, 61, of Clayhatchee, was found Thursday, May 26, 2005, at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Monday, May 30, 2005, at Peel Funeral Home in Bonifay, Florida. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Graceville, Florida, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark will be handling local arrangements. The family will receive friends at Peel Funeral Home Monday from 12:00 Noon until service time. Mr. Shirah was a native of Washington County, Florida. He served in the United States Army for seven years, retiring medically. He made his home in Newton for several years, then moved to Clayhatchee. Survivors include three sisters, Mary Conder, Ozark, Monette Anderson, DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and Katherine Fair, Bartow, Florida, two brothers, Earl Shirah, Panama City, Florida, and T. J.
