Obituary of Iva N. Jackson Johnson

Mrs. Iva N. Jackson Johnson, age 65, of the Echo Community of Ozark, died Sunday evening, April 3, 2005. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, April 6, 2005, from Echo United Methodist Church with Reverend Marquis Wingard and Reverend Phil Craddock officiating. Interment will follow in Echo Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at Holman Funeral Home in Ozark from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Tuesday evening. The body will be placed in the Church one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Johnson was born May 22, 1939 in Ashford, Alabama to the late Marjorie Johnson Jackson and Kirmet Lee Jackson. She resided in Ashford until moving to Echo in 1971. She was a member of Echo United Methodist Church where she was serving as Treasurer and was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. She was employed with Walter Hand Motor Company in Ozark for the past fifteen years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hobson "Hob" Johnson. Survivors include one daughter, Nicole "Nicky" Johnson Thompson, Echo, one son, Richard "Ricky" Johnson and his wife, Jana, Echo, three grandchildren, Kay Lee Johnson, Presley and Jordyn Thompson, one sister-in-law, Margaret Howard and her husband, Billy, Hope Hull, Alabama, two nephews, Tony Jackson, Pensacola, Florida and Todd Jackson, Ashford, Alabama. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to Echo United Methodist Church, 8046 East County Road 36, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
