Mr. Alburn Jackson "Jay" Evans, 67, of Ozark, died Sunday, February 6, 2005. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, February 9, 2005, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark. Mr. Evans was a native of the Echo Community of Ozark, having lived in Central Florida for 40 years prior to returning to Ozark eight years ago. He was a large machinery mechanic for Citrus World for 17 years. Survivors include his daughter, Shelley Esden and her husband, David, Ocoee, Florida, two sons, Lynn Evans, Auburndale, Florida, and James Evans, Monteagle, Tennessee, three sisters, Annette Medley, Clio, Doris Kirkland, Hartford, and Jane Carpenter, Texas one brother, James Evans, Dothan. Six grandchildren also survive.
